Happy Holidays Everyone! From Legacy Arts Group! We are so thankful and grateful for the blessings of 2021! This holiday season we look back on a new energy in our cast, blessings of space for rehearsal and performance from Minneapolis School of New Music, Modus Locus and Graffiti Garden, MPLS Parks and Rec, The Minneapolis Foundation, Capri Theater, North High School, and The George Floyd Square Global Memorial. Our biggest moment this year was seeing our community come together and support our fundraiser on the Unlocked Mission Yacht with Co-Captains Peter and Michele Borne. Our amazing Sponsors Mick Sterling, Tamala Lacy, First Draft Tap Room, Jamecia Bennett, Compass, Minneapolis Foundation, Becca Pyle Gardner, and Tephanie Delaney, N’dara’s Jewels, Sean Garrison, Strong Arm Security, SoulSpeak Expressions, and Matt Hayes. WE cannot forget about our amazing Parent team and family of volunteers! Every moment you have shared with us is appreciated. Your help this season has gotten us $6,700 closer to our goal, making our current total $17,200 out of $50,000.
With just 5 months to go, we are working hard to build our premier performance season and get our message to the world! We have currently been working hard on our soundtrack with Peter Borne of Airborne Records and owner of Unlocked Mission. As you can see from our pictures, the hard work and hard play will create magic! Stay tuned for your opportunity to hear and support the recorded work we’ve done!
